Coming to the Beerfest for the first time or just want to remind yourself of how things work – the following FAQs should help:-

  • Can I bring a dog?
    • Yes. Well behaved dogs are welcome but please make sure you clean up after them and they are on a lead at all times.
  • Can I bring a picnic?
    • No, sorry. We are a charity event and there will be food available to purchase on site. If you have specific dietary requirements , or young children with you, requirements then please bring what you need but please remember we are doing this to raise money for charity. Due to the site we are on leaving litter is a massive problem. We have to consider the wildlife that access the field and surrounding areas so if you do need to bring kids snacks etc please ensure you pick up the litter before you leave.
  • Can I bring my own drink?
    • Erm no? It’s a charity beer festival. We have a wide variety of drinks (including wine, cider and soft drinks) available to purchase (the exception being of course kids drinks). If we find you have brought your own it alcohol we will have to confiscate it.
  • Can we sleep in our car in the car park?
    • No, sorry. The WWT are open for business as usual on the Sunday, they need their car park. It is part of our agreement with them that no one other than those authorised to be on site will be once the festival closes.
  • Can we camp?
    • Yes if you can get in at the Tudor Arms campsite……other than that no, sorry.
  • Can we bring a gazebo / shelter?
    • You can. First come first served basis though and they will need to be pitched against the fence line. Ask someone in a red t-shirt to point you in the right direction. Once the fence line is full no more gazebos / shelters will be allowed to be erected.
  • Will I be eaten alive by horseflies?
    • Yes. Jungle formula works. As does drinking beer.
  • Is there anything for the kids to do?
    • Dance, listen to the amazing music….if it rains there’s usually someone that starts a mud slide…..
    • Please feel free to bring some small activities to keep them entertained 🙂
  • Can I go out and come back in again?
    • Yes. Just speak to the gate staff on the way out.
  • Will tickets be available on the gate?
    • Yes, but they will cost £10 each compared to £8 if ordered before Saturday.
  • I ordered my tickets after noon on Monday 18th June – how do I collect them?
    • Tickets will be on the gate for collection – bring your order acknowledgement with you.
  • I have not received the tickets I ordered – what do I do?
    • Arrive in good time with a printed copy of your order acknowledgement and we will check our records and endeavour to assist you.
  • How do you pay for drinks and food?
    • The bar and food serveries only take payment in tokens. Tokens can be purchased on site when you arrive. Tokens are valued at 50p each and can be used for all purchases.
  • Can I convert tokens back to cash?
    • We urge you to just buy enough tokens for what you think you are likely to spend on food and drink. Tokens can be converted back to cash BUT ONLY BEFORE 22:30. Tokens can be purchased at any time up to ‘last order’s’.
  • Can I pay by card?
    • Unfortunately, as a once a year event in a field we do not have facilities to accept card payments and only accept cash.
  • Are the beers good?
    • YES
  • Is the food good?
    • TOP CLASS
  • Will I enjoy it?
