Music 2010

Throughout the evening there will be live entertainment to suit all (most!) tastes.

The following bands will be entertaining us, at or around the time indicated:

18:30   The first band on stage is Lola Rose,
⇒ Traditional English & Irish Folk music, songs and tunes.

This was the band that welcomed you to the festival as you arrived int eh beer tent last year. They were so well received, we'vew asked them back with their own slot! Enjoy!



20:00   The mid band is: The Racketeers,
⇒ A bunch of experienced musicians who have played with other bands and have now decided to come together to form a new band that plays the music we love and enjoy performing. That includes Blues, New Wave and 50s & 60s classics, all with a rhythm and blues upbeat feel. Influences include:The Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Kinks, Elvis Presley, Dr Feelgood, Nick Lowe, The Doors, Thin Lizzy, Shadows, Ace, Joe Jackson, Deep Purple, Eric Clapton, Eddie and the Hotrods, Amen Corner, Status Quo, Little Richard, Elvis Costello, Free, Bad Company, Chuck Berry.



21:30   The headline band is the The Jug Band,
⇒ The Jug Band is a band that is going forward in no particular direction and backwards in both. They are the only band to give you stereo washboards. So, if you like your bands a bit rough around the edges (to say the least), not even the tiniest bit politically correct with a hint of Mungo Jerry thrown in. A bit rude and a bloody good laugh then come and see us.

20:00   The mid band is: The Johnsons,
⇒ Covering great songs by bands like Kaiser Chiefs, The Killers, Green Day, The Zutons, Foo Fighters, The Frutellis and Snow Patrol.

21:30   The headline band is the Tone Devils,
⇒ All things rock, and indeed roll. Influences in no particular order ... U2, Black Sabbath, The Chameleons, Sex Pistols, Gibson Explorers, Wishbone Ash, Dream Theater, Flying V's, The Sweet!, The Scorpions.
